Nude

The wearing of clothing is an exclusively human characteristic. Being stripped of one’s clothing is quite different than never having clothing at all. We all began nude, only after we are clothed and subsequently stripped are we actually considered naked.

Model Italy

My first painting class in Italy delivered my first experience with nude models. Nude means you never had clothes, compared to naked which holds the connotation you have been stripped of your clothes...hmmm. I was simply trying to cope with complete strangers showing me all their goods, that’s all.
