Filled with thoughts, fear of failure, beginning again. How do you
occupy your mind? There is too much time felt alone, hold back
crumbling, ok, no one’s looking now. Strength is found in odd places.

Colors
Ready to shed it’s green for golden hues of rust. Letting go of life,
falling to a fate of cyclic repetition. Have you let go of summer yet?

Mountains
Epic peaks
jutting upwards toward the sky, millennia in the making. The whisper of
Aspen leaves creates a meditative calm, giving a voice to the wind.

Aspen Eyes
Whispering to the breeze, breathing buds into leaves. Groups of families mingled in groves.

Farmhouse
Pulling off
the dirt road and onto the gravelly driveway meant we’d arrived at Grama
& Grampas. Past the horse corral there are giant trees to climb and
inside there are bowls of candy to eat, an indescribable feeling of
comfort washes over me. Maybe we could ride the tractor later, or
uncover treasures in the barn? It’s ok with Grama, as long as we stay
far away from the electric fence.

Bright Eyes
This is a
shot out of my hospital window the morning after my son was born. A
couple fresh feet of powder and subzero temperatures to welcome him into
the world. What a sweet view to greet an infinitely sweeter baby.
