Agave Azul

Native of Jalisco, Mexico, tequila agave is produced by removing the heart (piña) of the plant in its twelfth year. Harvested piñas normally weigh 36 to 91 kg (80–200 lb). It is rare for one kept as a houseplant to flower.

Dahlia

Gathered in the wild and cultivated, it was used as a food source by indigenous peoples. The Aztecs used them to treat epilepsy and employed the long hollow stem of the (Dahlia imperalis) for water pipes. The indigenous peoples variously identified the plants as "Chichipatl" (Toltecs) and "Acocotle" or "Cocoxochitl" (Aztecs). Commonly called "water cane", "water pipe", "water pipe flower", and "cane flower". Who needs a new water pipe?

Lily Reef

In Buddhist symbolism the lotus represents purity of the body, speech, and mind as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. A unique fabric from the lotus plant fibers is produced only at Inle lake, Union of Myanmar and is used for weaving special robes for Buddha images called kya thingahn (lotus robe).
