Sailing in BVI we visited an unusual geologic formation known as “The
Baths” located on the southern end of the island. Christopher Columbus
is said to have named the island “The Fat Virgin” since the island’s
profile on the horizon looks like a fat woman lying on her side. Wow, he
sure was dreaming, must have been lonely out there conquering new
lands. I highly recommend checking out the now five-star resort
Bitter End Yacht Club.
